The Riviera Hotel on the shores of Lake Kinneret is a transformative hospitality project that bridges the gap between luxury and environmental stewardship. Organized into linear "fingers" that mimic the natural flow of water, the resort consists of 100 modular units designed to maximize views of the lake while creating artificial topographies. The concept, titled "Eden Gardens," integrates lush indoor green areas with vibrant public spaces, offering a secluded and refreshing landscape experience that harmonizes with the site's unique ecology.
Our technical design prioritizes ecological balance through a dual water system where natural canals act as bio-filters, purifying water before returning it to the lake. The site’s microclimate is managed through strategic E-W orientations that funnel cooling summer breezes while blocking harsh winter winds. The planting scheme reflects the cultural context of Tiberias, utilizing the "Seven Biblical Species" to provide structural shade and foster biodiversity across the transition between lacustrine and steppe environments.
Beyond its environmental focus, the project offers high-end amenities including a spa, restaurant, and synagogue, all integrated into a pedestrian-friendly masterplan. By utilizing underground logistics and electric vehicle circulation, the ground level remains a serene, car-free sanctuary for guests. This approach demonstrates our expertise in creating sustainable, award-winning urban solutions that unite people with nature while enhancing the ecological health of iconic international landscapes.
