Llabres Tabony Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture design studio based in London with offices in Haifa and Shanghai. Our ethos lies in our critical approach to ecology and urbanism; our designs explore the relationship between the natural and built environments. Understanding architecture’s role in mediating between the two allows us to create work that is both environmentally and culturally adept.

Global reach
Our portfolio includes schools in the olive-filled valleys of northern Israel, large-scale housing on the volcanic coastline of Tenerife, sculptural works in the rice fields of southern China, and public spaces in inner-city Dublin. Our considered analysis of each site uses bespoke computational tools to foster new environmental intelligence that builds on local architectural rationales.

Working focus
Highly sensitive to each location, our team brings a wealth of cultural knowledge from across continents together with the latest architectural research and programming tools. We pride ourselves on bringing a practical yet alternative vision to each project, designing for the needs of people and environments in flux. Humanising highly technical architecture, our projects explore the collaboration between lived experience, design technology, and sustainable building.

Founders and Team
Llabres Tabony Architects was founded in 2017 by Enriqueta Llabres Valls and Aiman Tabony. It results from two decades of ALTernative practice and research and comprises a team that shares its architectural ethos. Trained at the University of Catalonia, Enriqueta gained a master’s degree in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and is currently completing a PhD at The Bartlett Centre of Advanced Spatial Analysis, UCL. She has taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Berlage Institute and is currently a lecturer at The Bartlett School of Architecture. Aiman graduated as an architect from the Technion Institute of Technology and completed his PhD at the Architectural Association. He currently teaches at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and his alma mater.
