The design features a distinctive perforated envelope wrapping a terracotta-toned core, reinterpreting the traditional protected courtyard to create safe, shaded outdoor learning environments that encourage social interaction. This morphology balances modern aesthetics with Mediterranean influences, ensuring a culturally resonant setting where the built environment acts as a fluid extension of the local social fabric.

The technical strategy utilizes a high-performance triangular-patterned screen for passive solar shading, generating a dynamic play of light while optimizing energy efficiency. Organized across terraced levels, the design leverages the site’s topography to maximize natural ventilation and thermal comfort in the coastal climate. By integrating sustainable finishes and vernacular textures, Ahbaballah reflects our expertise in high-complexity educational architecture, delivering a resilient daycare center that prioritizes the human experience and communal well-being for future generations.
