JIRS DAYCARE ALHANAN

Jisr Daycare Alhanan is an innovative educational facility in the coastal community of Jisr az-Zarqa. The building’s identity is defined by a vibrant, rhythmic skin of vertical slats in shades of green and cyan, mirroring the Mediterranean landscape. Our design prioritizes a seamless connection between indoor learning environments and the outdoors, creating a cohesive visual language that feels playful yet secure. This morphology ensures the center becomes a nurturing landmark, fostering a sense of belonging and creativity for its youngest users within a culturally resonant setting.

The technical resolution focuses on a modular brise-soleil system that regulates natural light while providing essential privacy and ventilation. Organized across multiple levels, specialized classrooms flow into terraced balconies and a rooftop playground, optimizing the site’s footprint. By utilizing high-performance materials to ensure a sustainable microclimate, Alhanan reflects our expertise in high-complexity educational architecture. This project serves as a vibrant social hub, delivering architectural solutions that place well-being and environmental responsibility at the heart of the design response.
