We are delighted to share that Enriqueta Llabres Valls participated in the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale as part of the session “Anticipating the Unprecedented. Architecture Can’t Wait”, organized by the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in collaboration with ETH Zurich.

In her presentation, Relational Urbanism: Designing the Unfinished, the Unstable, the Unruly, she reflected on more than 15 years of research and practice, exploring the intersection of relational thinking, systemic vulnerability, and architectural intelligence. Her work critically examined how architecture and urbanism can meaningfully engage with instability and uncertainty, while rethinking the role of the architect as mediator.

Representing The Bartlett School of Architecture, Enriqueta’s contribution highlighted the importance of relational design in confronting today’s ecological and social challenges, and in imagining new adaptive futures for cities and communities.
