We are proud to share that Dr. Aiman Tabony presented at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale in the session “Anticipating the Unprecedented. Architecture Can’t Wait”, organized by the School of Architecture at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in collaboration with ETH Zurich.

Dr. Tabony showcased the work of LlabresTabony Architects through the project Design by Nature—a culturally grounded and ecologically aware approach to designing a new desert city. Designed by Nature, Guided by Culture, our masterplan proposal for Albawadi envisions a city where environmental systems and cultural traditions shape resilient, adaptive urban life. By blending computational tools, systems thinking, and ecological intelligence, the project moves architecture beyond static form into living, evolving processes.

His contribution reflects a growing call for architecture to engage urgently with the challenges of climate, culture, and resilience, marking the Biennale as a pivotal platform for rethinking the discipline’s future.
